Transfers
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Transfers move stock from one of your warehouses to another. Each transfer covers a single product (and optional variation) with a quantity, and moves through an approval workflow that reserves stock in transit and updates both warehouses on completion.
Transfers are used to rebalance stock across locations — for example to replenish a low-stock warehouse from one that has surplus. They apply only in Warehouse inventory mode.

How to create a transfer
Section titled “How to create a transfer”To create a transfer, pick a source and destination warehouse, choose the product and quantity, and save — the transfer starts in the pending state.
- Open Inventory → Transfers and select Create Transfer.
- Choose the source and destination warehouses (they must be different).
- Select the product (and variation) and enter the quantity.
- Optionally add an expected arrival date, carrier, tracking number, and notes.
- Save. MicroPIM checks that the source warehouse has enough available stock and creates the transfer in the pending state.
Each transfer gets a unique reference number in the form TRF-YYYYMMDD-XXXXXXXX.
