Low Stock

The Low Stock page lists products that have fallen to or below their minimum stock level in a warehouse, so you can act before they run out. MicroPIM also raises in-app Low Stock Alerts automatically as stock changes.

Sidebar: Inventory → Low Stock URL: /admin/inventory/low-stock

An inventory record is marked low stock when its minimum stock level is greater than zero and its available quantity is at or below that level (but still above zero). If available quantity reaches zero, the record becomes out of stock instead.

The stock status is maintained automatically whenever stock changes, and the Low Stock page lists every record currently in the low-stock state, ordered by quantity.

MicroPIM raises alerts as in-app notifications (the notification bell):

  • Alerts are event-driven — they fire the moment a stock change moves a record into the low stock or out of stock status.
  • A notification is sent to your organization’s users, respecting each user’s notification preferences for product stock alerts.
  • Each alert links to the affected warehouse’s inventory.
